Mission Statement

Holy Trinity

The purpose of Holy Trinity Church in Aberaeron is to serve both the local and wider communities by:

        · Explaining what the Christian faith is
        · Demonstrating its relevance today
        · Helping people to know Jesus
        · Encouraging spiritual and emotional growth . . .

. . . in an atmosphere of friendship, love, support, understanding and prayer.

Our Vision

And afterwards, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and your daughters will
prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
Joel 2:28

Our vision is to know Christ and to make Him known. We aim to do this by being a church ...
... where Sunday is the best day of the week for everyone
... which is passionate about holiness and discipleship
... where people find healing for broken lives
... which is 'for Aberaeron' rather than just 'in Aberaeron'
... which makes care for the elderly and lonely a priority
... with a flourishing children's and youth ministry
... which gives a high proportion of its income away
... which is all underpinned with a deep commitment to prayer, both individually and corporately

God
    Jesus

            Death
                Life

God is the one true God who lives eternally in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. He is human on his mother's side but also the only son of God. He is therefore both fully God and fully man

Jesus died to break the curse of our sin which cuts us off from God. God himself, in the person of Jesus, willingly died for us that we might live.

The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross, dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, is the means by which we are reconciled to God.

Jesus Christ was bodily resurrected to life, the first fruit of our resurrection. He ascended to the Father, where he reigns and mediates as the only Saviour of the world.

The Bible of the Old and New Testaments is the inspired Word of God and is the authoritative source and norm for its proclamation, faith, and life.

Jesus will come back one day. We don't know when, but we do know that he will establish his perfect kingdom, and rule as king over us all.
